The Cave Renovation

  1. Outside his cave, a smiling neighbour asks, “Bjorn, can you help me update my cave?” Bjorn listens thoughtfully.
  2. Bjorn studies a book titled “Cave Designs” and draws renovation plans while imagining a beautifully furnished cave. His friend watches.
  3. Three scenes show Bjorn sweating as he carries heavy logs, hauls stone blocks and works on the renovation, while his friend carries lighter supplies.
  4. Bjorn smiles dreamily, imagining himself and his friend relaxing with drinks beside the fire in their newly renovated cave.
  5. A SOLD sign stands outside the renovated cave. Wearing an extravagant fur cape and jewellery, the friend holds a bag of clams and announces, “I made a profit of 50,000 clams!” Bjorn stares in dismay.
  6. Bjorn trudges away in anger. Behind him, his richly dressed friend raises a hand in indignant surprise and says, “You’d think he’d be happy for me.”

Those who profit from another's kindness should not mistake it for their own achievement.
